Scientific Reading in Computer Networks

Analysing related work is essential to plan and organize scientific work. The usually vast amount of existing related work requires selecting and reading the most important parts of a scientific paper, in particular in the research area of computer networks. The course will prepare for scientific work such as a master thesis in the area of computer networks. Students will get a certain number of scientific journal and/or conference articles in computer networks and have to finalize a written summary on these articles by discussing advantages and disadvantages of the concepts described in the articles. Concepts described in related articles should be compared to each other.
