Seminar Electronic Government

The requirements of the modernization of the state and its administration increased, particularly regarding the purposeful use of Internet technologies. A first demand requires electronics democracy and participation, i.e. we would like to support democratic decision procedures electronically. A further demand applies for co-operation between public and private respectively between public institutions. Examples are providing electronic tax declarations or the automatic collection of the electricity use for companies. In the seminar e-Government basics and strategies have to be understood, research issues about web-based techniques, concrete projects as well as empirical studies have to be presented.
